ZANZIBAR — DAY BY DAY ITINERARY

  • DAY 1Arrival in Zanzibar → Stone Town

    Welcome to the beautiful spice island of Zanzibar, rich in culture and history. A Chagga Village representative will meet you at Zanzibar Airport and drive you to your hotel in Stone Town.

  • DAY 2Spice Farm & Stone Town Tour

    After breakfast, you'll be picked up at 9:30 for a spice farm tour, where you can see different spices growing, taste seasonal fruits, and see local village life. You'll have lunch at the spice farm. After lunch, you'll take a town tour of Stone Town, the historic heart of Zanzibar Island, where you can see the old slave market site, the daily market, the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, the palace museum, and the narrow streets, plus time for shopping. This is a full-day tour, then you'll drive back to the hotel.

  • DAY 3Full-Day Beach Relaxation

    Enjoy a full day relaxing at the hotel beach, at your own pace.

  • DAY 4Safari Blue Boat Tour

    You'll be picked up from the hotel at 8:30 and taken to Fumba Village, where you'll meet your boat for a guided Safari Blue tour. This includes visiting three different sandbanks, stopping at one for a seafood lunch, then snorkeling with a chance to see dolphins. It's a full-day trip, returning to Fumba Village and the hotel around 17:30.

  • DAY 5Prison Island Visit

    In the morning, you'll be picked up from the hotel at 8:00 and taken to Prison Island, where you can see the resident giant tortoises and enjoy the blue ocean by snorkeling. From there, you'll be driven to a natural aquarium to swim with sea turtles, before heading back to your hotel.

  • DAY 6Beach Relaxation & Sunset Cruise

    Enjoy a full day relaxing at the hotel beach. Around 4:00pm, you'll be picked up and driven to Stone Town for an amazing sunset cruise aboard a traditional Zanzibar dhow, before heading back to the hotel.

  • DAY 7Departure

    You'll be picked up from the hotel and taken to Zanzibar Airport for your flight back to your country.
