DAY BY DAY ITINERARY

  • DAY 1Masai Mara Border → Serengeti National Park

    In the morning, our safari guide will pick you up at the Isibania border to start your safari to the Serengeti National Park, the most famous park in Tanzania and the first one ever created there. Inside the Serengeti, you can see many animals all year round, but it's the huge Migration herds that amaze most visitors. Animals here include buffaloes, elephants, cheetahs, lions, baboons, zebras, and many kinds of birds. Enjoy an exciting game drive, then watch a beautiful sunset in the evening, take a warm shower, and get ready for dinner.

  • DAY 2Serengeti National Park

    Wake up for a full day of game drives on the Serengeti plains, with a picnic lunch at one of the picnic spots. Or, if you prefer, go out early in the morning and return to camp for breakfast, then rest until the afternoon, when you can go on a sunset game drive on the plains.

  • DAY 3Serengeti → Ngorongoro Highlands

    This morning, after a beautiful Serengeti sunrise, depart early for a morning game drive in the Serengeti National Park. After brunch, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. On the way, you can choose to stop at Olduvai Gorge, home of the first humans and the most famous historic site in East Africa. Then continue to the Ngorongoro Crater, where you'll spend the night on the crater rim, with an amazing view of the crater floor. Before dinner, enjoy beautiful views of the crater below.

  • DAY 4Ngorongoro Crater → Departure (Kilimanjaro Airport)

    In the morning, you'll go down to the Crater Floor to get close to one of Africa's seven natural wonders. It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most beautiful, unique places in Africa. You'll spend a full day on game drives across the crater floor, with a picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool picnic site, looking for rhinos, elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, impalas, gerenuks, and more. Ngorongoro Crater is also known for its birdlife — at Lake Magadi, in the middle of the crater floor, you can see flamingos, pelicans, Egyptian geese, and many other water birds. In the afternoon, after a picnic lunch, you'll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home.
