DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
  • DAY 1Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) → Serengeti National Park

Today you will travel to the Serengeti National Park — the most famous park in Tanzania and the first one ever created there. On the way, you can choose to stop at Olduvai Gorge, the place where the Leakey family found old human bones. These bones show that humans may have first come from Africa. Once you reach the Serengeti, you can see many animals all year, but most people are amazed by the big herds of animals moving together, called the Migration. You will likely see buffaloes, elephants, cheetahs, lions, baboons, zebras, and many kinds of birds. Enjoy a fun game drive, then watch a beautiful sunset in the evening, take a warm shower, and get ready for dinner.
