In the morning, you'll drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After registration, you'll go down to the Crater Floor to get close to one of Africa's seven natural wonders — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most beautiful, unique places in Africa. You'll spend a full day on game drives across the crater floor, with a picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool picnic site, searching for rhinos, elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, impalas, gerenuks, and more. The crater is also known for its birdlife — at Lake Magadi, in the middle of the crater floor, you can see flamingos, pelicans, Egyptian geese, and many other water birds. Late in the afternoon, drive up to the Crater Rim for a shower, dinner, and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you'll depart for the most famous park in Tanzania and the first one ever created there — the Serengeti National Park. Inside the Serengeti, you can see many animals all year round, but it's the huge Migration herds that amaze most visitors. Animals here include buffaloes, elephants, cheetahs, lions, baboons, zebras, and many kinds of birds. Enjoy an exciting game drive, then in the evening, before dinner, take in beautiful sunset views and a warm shower before settling in for dinner.

This morning, after a beautiful Serengeti sunrise, check out of the campsite and start leaving the Serengeti through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On the way, you may see lions and other predators out on their morning hunt during your game drive. You can also choose to stop at Olduvai Gorge, where the Leakey family found old human fossils that suggest humans first came from Africa. Then leave through the Ngorongoro gate toward Moshi/Arusha.
